Bucket List on Social Media Books to Read

I have selected a number of books to update myself about Social Media. Most of them coming from Amazon eBooks. Just to name a few:

1. 500 SEO(Search Engine Optimization) Tips by:Sylvia D’Dwyer
2. Online Content Marketing in 30 Minuted by Derek Slater
3. How to Work for Yourself by Bryan Cohan
4. Twitter How to Market and Make Money with Twitter
by Ace McCloud
5. The Productive Person Action Guide
by Chandler Bolt and James Roper
6. How to Start a Successful Blog in One Hour
by Steve Scott.

I figured that other than joining webinars conducted by Mr. Jomar Hilario Internet Guru, Rochefelle Rivera VA Professionals, Mr. Joe Seeber. I would go through the process of learning and working On line.

One of the first posts I made in WordPress. I recall there were only a handful of Filipinos paving the way in the  Virtual Assistant Industry in the Philippines. Personally I would call them the pioneers who shared their time, experience and expertise in different fields such as a Virtual Assistant, Blogger,Search Engine Optimization, Lead Generation, Landing Page, E-Mail Marketing, Virtual Blogs or VLOGS just to name a few.

Time is the measurement of a personal progress. A  personal journey to learn and apply the lessons learned in terms on how they can articulate their thoughts in order to share or impart what they know. Perhaps to others , it is a simple way of sharing what they now practice  as their digital profession.  There are also many who have began their journey but for one reason or another decided to throw in the towel . Only to be discovered by others who will continue as a new adventure.

Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.

— Bruce Lee

I am a firm believer and practitioner of Martial Arts. For the past years, I love learning from aphorism.

What is an aphorism ?

An aphorism (from Greek ἀφορισμός aphorismos, “delimitation”) is a terse saying, expressing a general truth, principle, or astute observation, and spoken or written in a laconic and memorable form.[1] Aphorism literally means a “distinction” or “definition”. The term was first used in the Aphorisms of Hippocrates. The oft-cited first sentence of this work (see Ars longa, vita brevis) is:

Life is short, art long, opportunity fleeting, experience deceptive, judgement difficult.

The term was later applied to maxims of physical science, then statements of all kinds of philosophical, moral, or literary principles. In modern usage an aphorism is generally understood to be a concise statement containing a subjective truth or observation, cleverly and pithily written.

It would be nice to learn from books , from writers or authors who have the knowledge and skill. I love the teachings and writings of the late writer, martial artist and actor, Bruce Lee, who  died at the age of 32. Yet , his wisdom and teachings live on.
